I am Ryan Salazar, owner of Salazar Counseling. This policy explains how I handle information on this website and when you reach out about working together.

This website is for learning about the practice and making an initial connection. Please do not use it to share treatment records. This policy does not replace the privacy notices that apply to clinical care; contact the practice if you would like to ask about those before beginning services.

When you get in touch

If you call or email, I receive the contact information and any details you choose to share. When the consultation form is available, it asks for your name, email address or phone number, preferred response method, and a topic such as a consultation or availability.

Please keep your first message brief. A name and a way to reach you are enough. Avoid sending diagnoses, treatment histories, insurance documents, or other sensitive health information through this website or ordinary email.

How the information is used

I use your contact information to respond to your request, answer practical questions, and discuss next steps. It is not used for advertising or mailing lists.

Email, storage, and service providers

Consultation form submissions are delivered to the practice by email and are not stored in the website's database. The email and website hosting services used to operate the practice process messages or technical information as part of providing those services. Their systems may retain messages, logs, or backups.

Ordinary email is not guaranteed to be private. If you would prefer not to email, you can call instead. Contact me before sending sensitive documents so we can discuss an appropriate way to share them.

The optional Snake game saves your personal best in your browser. If you submit a high score, your chosen initials and score are stored on the website and shown on the public leaderboard. Use initials you are comfortable sharing publicly. Clearing this site's browser data removes your locally saved personal best.

Children's privacy

This website describes a practice serving adults and is not intended for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has shared personal information through this website, please contact me.
